From Tibet’s Peaks to Inclusive Play: Honoring Our Newest CP Champion, Dr. Marie-Luce Chevalier

Inclusion in Bloom

At BRIGHT, we believe that world-changing impact starts with a single conversation. What began as a technical presentation by our founder, Matt Palaszynski, at the prestigious FORES Foreign Experts Forum, has blossomed into a beautiful friendship and a powerful community partnership.

Today, we are thrilled to introduce you to a woman whose brilliance is matched only by her heart: Dr. Marie-Luce Chevalier, our newest “CP Champion” and an all-around friend of BRIGHT.

A Meeting of Minds and Hearts

The seeds for our recent spring celebration were sown over coffee and croissants. After hearing Matt share the BRIGHT mission—a journey rooted in his 24-year quest to move beyond “management” toward a true cure for Cerebral Palsy—Marie-Luce reached out.

As a full Professor at the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Marie-Luce is no stranger to “impossible” challenges. She spends her days studying earthquakes in the rugged terrain of Tibet, unraveling the secrets of the Earth’s crust to save lives. Yet, despite her demanding academic career, she saw a different kind of “tectonic shift” she wanted to help lead: the movement toward true inclusion for neuro-diverse children.

A Perfect Spring Day of Inclusion

Marie-Luce suggested a collaboration between her social group and BRIGHT to benefit children’s charities. The result? A vibrant community event that brought together over 25 neuro-typical and neuro-diverse children for a day of pure joy.

The setting was a dream—a beautiful, sun-drenched garden in full bloom where kids embarked on an outdoor Egg Hunt and an Egg Art Contest Where every child’s creativity took center stage..

The energy then moved indoors to a stunning community-donated space for:

  • Tie-Dye Sessions: Filling the room with color and laughter.
  • A BRIGHT Mural: A collaborative community painting that now stands as a symbol of our shared mission.

Beyond the snacks and cheer, the day was about community building. New friendships were forged, and Marie-Luce’s group gained deep insights into the daily lives of families living with CP.

Momentum That Moves Mountains

The impact was immediate. Inspired by the event, Marie-Luce’s group didn’t just walk away with memories—they took action. The very next day, they organized a charity “Pre-Loved” clothing event, raising a generous sum that was immediately donated to support BRIGHT’s ongoing work.

This level of dedication is exactly what the BRIGHT ecosystem is built on. Whether it’s the high-efficiency family support found at CPCare.org or the cutting-edge research and MOU partnerships (like our landmark agreement with PKUIH) featured on CPCure.org, every victory is fueled by champions like Marie-Luce.

Why We Call Her a “CP Champion

Being a CP Champion isn’t just a title; it’s a commitment to seeing the child before the diagnosis. From the peaks of Tibet to the gardens of our community, Dr. Marie-Luce Chevalier embodies the spirit of exploration and empathy.

Thank you, Marie-Luce, for your hard work, your donation, and for proving that when we work together, we can engineer the impossible.

Momentum That Demands Attention – Want to join the movement?

While we celebrate these moments of community joy, BRIGHT is also moving at a breakneck pace on the clinical front. We aren’t just managing symptoms; we are re-engineering the future of recovery.

We have announced The NeuroLoop Protocol, our frontier approach to neuro-recovery, signaling a massive leap in how we bridge the gap between technology and the human brain. This technical progress is further amplified by our landmark MOU with PKUIH (Peking University International Hospital). Partnering with a global powerhouse of this scale and technical caliber ensures that our innovations move from the lab to the family home faster than ever before. Read the hospital’s announcement of the BRIGHT/Peking U. MOU.

BRIGHT is advancing at a pace that cannot be ignored. We are disrupting the status quo of CP care, and we need a community that is as bold as our technology.

Join the Disruptors

The success of Dr. Marie-Luce Chevalier’s event proves that when world-class minds and compassionate hearts unite, the “impossible” starts to happen. But we are just getting started.

The future of neuro-diversity is being written right now. Will you help us hold the pen?
